2024 Annual Invasive Species Conference
To all Iowa Weed Commissioners, Natural Resource personal, Conservation personal
and Applicators with certifications in 1A, 2, 5, 6, and now 3OT!
This year’s 2024 Invasive Species Conference Is being held at Prairie Meadows Event Center with a Bass Pro shop across the way for all the outdoors people!
- Take advantage of a great opportunity to network and update your knowledge with other natural resource Professionals and Weed Commissioners!
- You also receive your 2024 CICs for your pesticide license (1A-Ag, 2-Forestry, 5-Aquatic , 6-Right-of-way, and 3OT Ornamental and Turf ) just for attending!
- Please fill out registration form and send payment prior to Feb 29th. Pricing reflects CIC costs and increased meal and venue costs. Late fees apply as of February 28th.
- Wednesday March 13th at 4:00 P.M. there is a special meeting held for new weed commissioners to guide them on what is expected of a County Weed Commissioner.
- There will be lots of great information presented on topics such as: weed ID, weed control, weed law, herbicide application, and herbicides and the environment.
- We will have a large inventory of new apparel in a variety of colors to support the IWCA.
- Hotel Reservations must be done by February 12th, 2024.
- Registration and Payment must be received by February 28th. Late fees apply after this date.
